Creating STEAM Summer Program - Mon-Friday 9 AM - 4 PM

Students participate in a two week program Monday-Friday. Throughout the 10 day experiential learning program students gain competencies in 21st century workforce skills and awareness of STEAM career opportunities for today and in the future. Competencies that are integrated into the 10 day experience are, the Value of Lifelong Learning, Problem Solving, Self-Management, Teamwork, Collaboration On- and Offline, Information Media and Technology Skills, ICT Learning, Knowledge construction, Leaderships, Life and Career Skills.

Students work in teams to build a conceptual business that supports the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. As a team the students will be integrating technology and working to develop an Internet of Things (IoT) solution along with a website that offers a solution to a problem facing society. This program prepares students with 21st century workforce skills while preparing them for an active role as a social entrepreneur.

You will not find a program like CreatingSTEAM anywhere else!  It offers students the opportunity to learn to work in a diverse team, build workforce skills for their future, get creative with innovating and problem solving, and aligns to real world issues.
