Creating STEAM, is a two-week experiential learning program that offers students workshops, keynote addresses, and brain-based project-focused learning, focusing on all aspects of STEAM education, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and careers in STEAM fields. Students will split into teams that will work together throughout the two weeks, covering subjects such as website development, robotics, coding, design, engineering principles, and mobile applications just to name a few. Most days begin with a keynote address from a professional from the STEAM fields, and end with a panel discussion. In between students will participate in their group projects, workshops, and team building activities, all of which promote skills such as leadership development, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking. This is an exciting learning intensive program that allows students to explore all aspects of the 21st century careers and find their own paths to success.
